Description

The Earliest Ed: A Discussion on Daycare & Preschool Options in Dedham

Join Dedham Parent Time, the Dedham Community House & Dedham Public Schools as we host a discussion on choosing a daycare or preschool program.

We’ll start with a panel discussion with representatives from a variety of daycare and preschool options— home-based daycare, center-based daycare, play-based daycare, public preschool and private preschool—and have time for parents to ask questions. Following the program, parents will be able to network with daycare & preschool providers, as well as each other.

Sunday, November 24th
3:30 pm
Dedham Community House

Panelists:

Kim Taylor, Principal, Early Childhood Education Center
Katrina Tober, Director, Dedham Community House Preschool
Liz Otto-Fagan, Dedham Ducklings Family Child Care & a member of the Dedham Daytime Family Child Cares group

We will share a list of other daycare & preschool providers participating via our Facebook page..

NOTE: We will offer childcare for this meeting in the DCH Summer Camp Space but need to know in advance if your children will attend and, if so, how old they are. Make sure to register your children for this event alongside yourself.

Unlike last year, this discussion will not address the public kindergarten process or options. If you are interested in learning more about the programs offered at the Early Child Education Center (preschool AND kindergarten), there is a parent information night on Tuesday, November 12th at 6:15 pm and the Curran Early Childhood Education Center, 1100 High Street.
