Join the fun with creative movement for the whole family!
Sunday, February 17
9:30 to 10:15 am
Dance Studio, Dolan Center, 269 Common Street
Movement and music are essential for developing minds and bodies. In this group, caregivers move with children and act as role models in trying new things and building relationships in movement. We’ll stretch, dance, get silly, and play games to build interpersonal and social skills. Your movements are designed to assist with cognitive and motor development including body control, balance, body awareness, self-control and concentration, sensory integration, expressivity, muscular strength, and boundaries in our bodies and our space. The music played will inspire mood and movement and aid in self-regulation. Children and caregivers are invited to wear clothes that are comfortable for stretching, jumping, and moving and footwear like indoor sneakers or dance shoes. Build confidence and community, and let’s move together!
Space is limited to 15 children, so pre-registration is required.
